Banteay Meanchey: Cục Phòng chống Ma túy, phối hợp với Đồn cảnh sát Ochrov, đã bắt giữ ba nghi phạm người Thái Lan trong hai cuộc truy quét tại thành phố Poipet, tỉnh Banteay Meanchey, ngày 20 tháng 7 năm 2026.
Cuộc truy quét do Thiếu tướng Thin Sindet, Phó Ủy viên phụ trách Kế hoạch Phòng chống Ma túy của Công an tỉnh Banteay Meanchey chỉ huy, sau khi nhận được thông tin từ người dân về hoạt động đáng ngờ liên quan đến tội phạm ma túy.
Sau khi nhận được thông tin, lực lượng chuyên trách đã xác định vị trí và theo dõi mục tiêu trước khi tiến hành truy quét trên một tuyến đường công cộng tại thôn Kbal Spean 1, xã Ochrov, thành phố Poipet. Trong cuộc truy quét đầu tiên, lực lượng chức năng đã bắt giữ hai nghi phạm người Thái Lan.Hai nghi phạm là:
Parivet Thongmeun, biệt danh Mon, nam, 26 tuổi, người Thái Lan.Jiraksak Sarakrat, biệt danh Kep, nam, 31 tuổi, người Thái Lan.
Cơ quan chức năng báo cáo rằng tang vật thu giữ từ cuộc truy quét đầu tiên bao gồm một gói POD K và ba thuốc lá điện tử hoặc bút vape.
Cùng ngày, lực lượng đặc nhiệm tiếp tục cuộc truy quét tại Borey Duong Chan, thuộc làng Samaki Meanchey, phường O’Chrov, thành phố Poipet, và bắt giữ thêm một nghi phạm khác, Karan Kanbokeo, biệt danh Ok, quốc tịch Thái Lan, 47 tuổi.
Trong cuộc truy quét thứ hai, cơ quan chức năng đã thu giữ 16 gói POD K đóng gói sẵn, một thuốc lá điện tử và hai điện thoại di động.Ba nghi phạm và tang vật hiện đã được chuyển đến Cục Chống Ma túy để thẩm vấn, chuẩn bị hồ sơ và tiến hành các thủ tục pháp lý. Vụ bắt giữ này chỉ là cáo buộc sơ bộ, trong khi nghi phạm được coi là vô tội cho đến khi có phán quyết cuối cùng của tòa án.
